My lifestyle as a student is so busy sometimes, I get caught up in schoolwork and being in class and exams etc. For example, even though I have two and three classes per day, my time is so divided into getting ready and out the door in time in the morning, taking the train to wherever I need to be, class, finding time to eat a snack at some point, and then coming home and having to work on assignments or studying. This hectic schedule is not new to me, as I often find myself just as busy at St. Joe's. The only difference is the addition of being in a new city and wanting to be able to explore it and it's surrounding areas, as well as traveling during the weekends. I often don't have time to really relax. Today, however, I made sure to set apart some time for myself. I prepared some green tea (so yummy with lots of health benefits!) and did a 20 minute yoga session while I waited for the tea to cool down. I feel so relaxed and good and serene and happy and all around positive vibes after that. I realized that life shouldn't have to be hectic and stressful. Half an hour is really all I need, and I think that finding just 30 minutes out of a day of 1440 to relax and connect back with myself is totally doable, and it will only benefit me in the long run. ॐ♥☺
